The easy setup with no need for construction is terrific.
Convenience stores are a vital part of the local infrastructure, so I wanted to create a store that would contribute to the community and the environment.
The headquarters cover most electricity costs, so it's not a significant burden on the owner. But that doesn't mean we don't take any action to conserve energy. We make sure that lights are turned off often, air curtains are installed on the drink refrigerators to keep cold air from escaping, and our employees cooperate to ensure the target temperature is kept at 25°C in the summer and 21°C in the winter.
We chose the MS-RDK because it saves energy even if we continue to use the air conditioners in the same way. In addition, it is easy to install with no need for construction. We can check our energy usage rates at any time. We could see that the overall electric usage rate dropped after we implemented MS-RDK, so I decided to implement it at another store I am operating as well.

Looking to reduce our energy consumption, not just to save money but to contribute to society.
The main reason we introduced "MS-RDK" was to reduce our energy consumption. As you know, patisseries consume a lot of energy to bake cakes and cookies, etc. The air conditioners in our shop, kitchen, and stock space, as well as the ovens, display case lighting, and quick-chill refrigerator to chill down. You could say that you can't make sweets without electricity.
We selected the "MS-RDK" since it can be installed easily and shows an immediate energy-saving effect, and because we resonated with 3ms' coporate ideology: "Reducing CO2 emissions and costs to contribute to the environment. "From now on, I think it is essential to look beyond ourselves and think how "people and society can coexist".

Energy consumption per day
TRP, Inc. (Installed in September 2020)
A total of 129 MS-RDK sheets were installed in the air conditioners throughout the plant and office. To verify the effect, the TRP staff measured the air conditioner's energy consumption for a week each before and after the sheets were installed. They found that consumption was reduced by 1,763 kWh per day*. Based on these verification results, TRP installed MS-RDK sheets in more air conditioners in 2021 to achieve further energy savings and decarbonization.

MS-RDK is registered in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office, Tokyo (UNIDO ITPO) Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform (STePP) as technology that meets the registration criteria of "excellent environmental and energy technologies that contribute to industrial development in developing and emerging countries". Many Japanese and local companies in Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Sli Lanka have installed MS-RDK. It is helping to reduce the environmental burden in Southeast Asia, where the use of air conditioners is rapidly increasing as the region's economies grow.
